What is UNIX? Where is UNIX? Understanding the Power, Control and Freedom of the UNIX Operating System
We will have graduate student speakers from Florida State University speaking about the impact of UNIX and UNIX-like systems in the professional technological fields. UNIX security measures, UNIX Installation for corporate sized companies, UNIX working with Microsoft applications, UNIX compatibility layer environments and UNIX virtual servers will be discussed.
Exploring VS.NET 2005 (Whidbey) and the .NET Framework 2.0 Enhancements - TBD
We are honored to have Joe Healy, a Microsoft .NET evangelist, presenting to us on the behalf of Microsoft. Joe will be covering the following topics. - .NET Framework 2.0 - Developer Tools Roadmap - Overview of Enhancements - C# Language - VB Language - .NET CLR - System.Network Namespace - Windows Forms Namespace - ASP.NET 2.0 - ADO.NET 2.0 - Visual Studio Team.
